Can anyone beat this for a cr@p week? 1. Last Friday had a check up at dentist - no problems 2. Woke up saturday morning in agony from teeth 3. Saturday afternoon had to phone emergency dentist, which turned out to be NHS direct, saw a nurse at the walk in center who gave me strong painkillers and antibiotics incase I had an abcess. 4. Spent most of sunday in pain and vomiting from antibiotics 5. Monday morning went to dentist - had an emergency extraction 6. wednesday morning still in agony, went back to dentist who thought I had an infection in socket, packed it and gave me some new antibiotics 7. This morning, still in agony, went back to dentist and had another tooth removed 7 hours ago. 8. Still in PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! (hopefully just due to extraction)

Then I was looking all over the place for a ref. number the bank gave me could have sworn it was on a large sheet then remembered she wrote it on my paying in slip. I dread to think what was going to happen on Thursday but all was well .Glad I don't have many days like that.
Hi mifta
You have my sympathy. Had a crap day today. My Husband wakened with an abscess on his tooth this morning. This is the fourth on in three months. called our GP, no appointments.
He was happy to collect a script that was prescribed for him a few weeks ago for the same thing. GP who was dealing with emergencies would get back to us.
The urgency with us is that my Hubbie's cancer has returned and is going in for an op on Sunday and also Chemo for the second time in three years. This fell on deaf ears.
After numerous calls to the surgery we went along at 5pm. Made to wait 40 minutes before this GP in particular took off for home. My Hubbie was eventually seen by another Doctor who apologised and said this should never had happened. One wasted day as I return back to work tomorrow. Do Doctors think they are the only ones who are busy? I am so stressed out tonight I could bounce off walls. lol
Anyway, hope you feel better soon.

Well I'll try to beat it..........
Last Monday whilst in middle of my hols, I went for a walk on the beach, slipped down a banking and broke my bloody wrist!!!!
I spent 5 and half hours in A&E in the worst pain I've ever encountered, only to be told that they didn't have time to pop it back into place then, so I had to return the following morning for a further 3 hours. I then also had to go back the following day to see the consultant. So basically I've spent the 2nd week of my hols either in hospital or in extreme agony.
I'm now home and facing the glorious prospect of telling my boss that I've now got to go on the sick, the thought of his face resembling a cat's bum when he sees my arm in a cast is quite frankly depressing me:-(
