Can any parent of school boys (11-16 years old) ask their lad if they have boxing at school either as an extra hobby or part of P.T or P.E

I did it at school without head protection, but what with current health and safety and a namby pamby education ministry etc, I am unsure if it still exists.

And if you have an answer can you tell me if it is a state or private school.

Thank you.

I used to fence at school - can you imagine giving 15 year olds weapons now!!!!
Boxing is a disgusting and violent activity, and is possibly racist too (ongoing research).

Instead, why not get fit with !! - SBAW - Slap Boxing with Adequate Warning. In this growing sport you walk up slowly and unthreateningly to your co-citizen and say politely 'I'd rather like to give you a really good slapping'. Provided you get witnessed agreement you can then slap your co-citizen on the cheek and claim a point. What happens next is moot, but you could well get stabbed.
Sorry, public school
State school ~ no boxing.

In fact they don't do rounders or lacrosse either.
