BBC2 have filmed their 'Kitchen Criminals' in Glasgow, not a good place to begin granted, but even so Steve Race and Angela Hartnell (phoar !!) are being unneseccarily rude about toasted sandwiches and pizza, the stock ingredients of Glaswegian meals.

I've also just received a book from a dear friend, Scots Dictionary 2007, Jimmy the noo wit heid bummer dinna fash me.

I'm scottish, I can assure you that we don't all exist on deep fried mars bars and jumbo sausage rolls. However, it is small wonder that the majority of people in the country are working to support a certain sector of society in the lifestyle that they have become accustomed to by supplying disability benefits for illnesses brought about by their poor diet, fags and booze. The only exercise being taken is the walk to the bingo - that's unless you are getting a free taxi on benefits as well. I am sure that this is not limited to Scotland or Glasgow, but I believe that Glaswegians have the lowest age expectation in the country.
Hartnett - yeah she's got a certain something
Whiffey, to understand the contents of the book fully, you must wear your bonnet when reading it. Also you would feel good to have a swally too.

I love Scotties, unintelligible, but lovely.

By the way whiffey,
LOts of us Scots love Gerry Rafferty! lol "So easy to Talk"
In Glasgow dinner party circles, a numpty is better known as a dunderheid.
I'd say "gype" wi a hard "g" rather than "numpty."
