when I was a kid we were told this. Acid is taken in very low doses, its a very potent drug and the amount you take is in millionths of a gram. We were told it stayed in your spinal cord. You can buil up a resistance to the drug but after a few days of not taking it, its like your first time all over again.

It has been disproved that lsd can stay in your body.

The flashback thing is another highly debated area, basically most users have never had one. Those that have mostly have some sort of psychiaitric disorder. I have taken acid and some of the effects of being excessively tired are akin to some of the things that happen to you on acid. Maybe this accounts for some people saying they have flashed back.
