I don't have a topic, or anything... I just feel like I'm missing out on it these days =).
A bit like we seem to be missing out on the summer....

So, who's first??

Leela- do you ever watch House? (TV programme)... You chomping your painkillers reminded me of the character!
Maybe you should try and eat something else that taste's terrible - see if that distracts you from the pain (or not).

GCSE's - I keep forgetting that it's no big deal to anyone but our year!! Ah well, It'll all be over soon!!

Hahaha... true... x
I'm sorry, I haven't seen House! I am so untrendy it's unbelievable! lol. That's a good idea-a kind of aversion technique? *Searches for horrid-tasting stuff* Bleach? Nah, deadly....A squashed chocolste bar my b/f lay on in bed-hmm, it's STILL chocolate...a-HA! SOAP! :D

Oh lots of luck for Thursday-I don't think you'll need it, you will fly! What did you take? I hate how they make you wait so long for results! And I do remember how massive they felt! What do you plan on doing next year? xx

Well, the long and short of it is - they guy's addicted to painkillers...moving on....
Probably staying away from the bleach was a good idea... got any chalk?? =) Or eerrrm, shoe polish? Maybe not....

Thanks - the worst thing is, SOMEONE already knows my marks!! How horrid is that!?

I took: Health & Social, IT, Child Development, Art (big mistake) and all the usual stuff. I already know my H&S and IT results, although not officially.

I'm looking forward to my PE result - seeing as I managed to break a finger during my netball exam. That was fun. Although it didn't really register until the end, and we won, so it was worth it!!

Next year - I'm staying on at 6th Form at my school (the geek that I am). Most of my friends are going to *sigh* Bradford College. Not a great move in my mind but I'm keeping my mouth shut.

Thanks again for the good luck wishes :D

Sorry Kirk...
I was trying to be complementary (while badly hiding my jealousy).
Face-to-face is so much easier... ah well...

=s x
OK that makes sense! lol. Best to move on, yes.
I KNOW! How dare they not impart your marks as soon as they are completed? Grrr! I hope said person doesn't know you! Are you happy with your choices, and confident in your marks? What are you taking at 6th form?

I didn't go to 6th form. I went to Art College to do my A levels-English lit & lang, Media Studies and Film Studies. I am doing a youth and community work degree now and working as a youth worker too, so a bit different! But it was a valuable experience. What makes you doubt your friends' choices? Sure you aren't a geek....conscientious maybe :D xx
Question Author
Aw, Leela, sweet! (Sorry Kirk, couldn't resist!!)
In theory, yeah, confident about my marks...but the closer it gets to the day....!

I'm glad I chose the subjects I did...although admittedly art was a mistake - not because of the subject but the teacher... I seem to have had bad luck in that department! Apart from art (which is a predicted B but I'm expecting a C/D), I'm expected nothing below a C, which is nice to know, but It's no comfort at the minute!!

Our 6th form timetables not so good, I really wanted to do English Language & Psych, but I can't fit either in with (double) H&S...
So I'm taking H&S, Sociology & ICT. Really looking forward to it - I've never been one for long holidays, I like to be busy!!

Bradford college does not have the best reputation in the world, I think the attraction to my pals is that you have no obligation to go in, really, and they won''t have to get up at the crack of 7am!

Lovely.... Reet, I'm off to beddy-bies. See you all tomorrow, when I will be even more nervous than I am now (leela!).

And what do you think about kids passing the 11 plus exam and going on to finalize their GSCE with a bunch of O level exams watered down to give them A level results so that they can attend Uni (hate that term: they can't even spell university) especially if they are taking a CP course and paying for it COD?
Question Author
I know... what are they thinking, trying to do the best for themselves!?
I failed the 11+, but I'm glad I did, the school I went to is great....GCSE's are easier.... =)
