When the fairer sex "suffer" from pre-blob tension are they actualy aware they may be a little steamed up and thus best not crossed? In other words are they conscious their fuse is short?

Also, if they put a little red star in their diaries/calenders to indicate when the painters and decorators are arriving, do they also put another sign to indicate when PBT is likely to occur?
