Hi, i have recently been given a contract by a television broadcaster to do some filming. They asked me to do some filming of great walks. The problem is i need some help of finding a good walk in the UK to do some filming. Its got to be intresting and have history or great scenery. Also it can be in ireland, but only northern ireland. All help welcome.
The best walk by a country mile is The Great Glen Way in Scotland.
There you will take in Inverness (Battle of Culloden), Loch Ness and the monster, Urquart Castle (steeped in history) and Ben Nevis (just off track at the end of the walk in Fort William)
The Coastal Path in Wales is amazing, or Hadrians wall, or along the A5 From London to Holyhead, lots of history, diverse scenery, and it is a great road built by Telford, and in parts still has a base of reeds where it goes over marshy land in North Wales.
