Ok, last night I went out with E, L and J. We met up with S, her boyfriend M and his mate A. S has been with M about 8-9months. Her relationships normally last about 2months as she loses interest. S was all over M's mate A and she had previously told me she thinks A is far more her type and she finds him very attractive. She was holding A's drink for him when he went to the loo. Then she kept searching for him and asking every one where he was. I spent most of the night chatting to M and keeping him company as he was just standing on his own as S was kind of blanking him. He is a really decent guy and I find him so funny. I do find him quite attractive too but that's besides the point. Anyway.. after chatting to M for ages I ended up kissing some other guy and M went up to his girlfriend S and said 'I thought I was making good ground with K and then she goes and kisses some guy'! (K is me). Now does anyone else find this a weird thing to say to your own girlfriend about one of her mates? S came and told me he said it and she wasn't laughing or angry.. she said it normally like he was being serious! She is one of those girls who when you dance with, she gets a bit close and very flirty and for a friend it's just a bit weird.. Anyway... me and E left early to go get food and go home.. Then M rung me from S's phone asking where we were and M and S came and met us. Then after getting food S was chatting up one of my ex boyfriends and M was chatting to me and he even took my mobile number. He text me this morning at 4am and I text back at 9am when I woke up. It was just a jokey message about the night though. Does anyone else think this is weird? Also I am starting to think they might be swingers or something!
Hiya Rubyrose :-)
I find that ruddy odd. It sounded like S didn't mind at all and M was really honest about it. Is S a very good friend? I.e. could you say to her you found it weird?
Did you ever see the episode of Alan Partridge where him and Lin went round to the couple's house to look at the kitchen and the couple were swingers?!!!
No I didn't see that but now I know not to go and view their kitchen! Lol.
S is actually one of E's friends but I have known her for about 6years (only been hanging about with her for about 2yrs though). She is a good mate I suppose but not close enough for me to go and have a chat with her about it... well.. I would as it wouldn't bother me but we aren't that close if you know what I mean. I wonder if he will text me again. I have no plans to text him.
After A went to the loo and asked S to hold his drink, he dissapeared!! Vanished.. that's why S spent the whole night asking everyone where he was and looking for him. She was also hitting on some other guy in the club and it was only when he told her he wanted to kiss her that she said 'This is my boyfriend M'.. He was quite shocked she had a boyfriend.
She is definately still with M. They got back from their holiday last week too. But she has always been like this.. it was nothing to do with the holiday.
aaarghhh ruby, you know those puzzles where jane is half as tall as Sarah, but Lisa is smaller than Sarah etc etc so who its the second smallest? It hurt my brain in the same way....
but ermmmm I dunno if its weird, I had to keep starting from the beginning to try and understand.
Hi Ruby
It's all a bit odd isn't it. I wouldn't text either, I think you're doing the right thing. And defo don't go and view the kitchen!!!

it is, I agree. I've not heard of anything like that before. I mean I get on with my friends boyfs nicely as they do mine but there is never anything untoward or flirty. It would make me feel uncomfortable.
