A confusing question

If gay men( and I hate to use that word) prefer their own sex and yet some would like to adopt children, just how exactly do they see the womens role who is obviously an essential factor of increasing the populous.

Is she just a baby maker to provide them with live toys to manipulate. Worth a thought eh jack..

I've just been reading the responses to this thread and I must say I am pleasantly surprised by many of the views that people seem to share on this issue, as well as your persistent challenging of the questionable opinion of Doc Spock. If it were me, however, I would have avoided expressing my more liberal views entirely as I would have appreciated from his other threads that this man is incapable of understanding others' points of views and would rarely deliver a structured, well thought out argument if he were to respond. I think when it comes to very simple, arrogant and closed minded people (and unfortunately there are many of them), it's best just to save your breath.

And as I have been pointing out all day as well, Spock is entitled to express his views in any way he wishes within Site Rules. It amuses me to see the righteous indignation and howling rage of the liberals.

It doesn't make him simple, arrogant, nor closed-minded. It just highlights the reciprocal intolerance of his critics. I am thankful for strong minds. This is not an abstract philosophical debate here, this is the stuff, and the emotive stuff too, of the fabric of our society.

Well Whiffey I never at any point said he wasn't entitled to his views. Only that people shouldn't attempt to try to reason with someone who is clearly incapable of such, as evidenced by most of the comments I have read by him.

Plus if you can dictate that I or we are self righteous liberals for our views, then I can argue that he is a self righteous fascist. However, I won't say that he is, because I simply do not know the man and cannot make such an extreme judgement about him purely on the basis of his comments on an internet forum. Although I am pretty sure I wouldn't like (nor him me) to have a drink with him.
