Is it november the 5th already? It is 10.20 pm and there are fireworks going off outside!!! My dogs are going bananas!!!!!!!!! Is this what we are going to have now? Fireworks going off till november????

I don't quite understand the law here, there is a bylaw about selling fireworks in this borough that states they can only be sold 2 weeks before bonfire night and so how does this lot of fireworks get round that? Do people have to ask for a license?

Hi dot , there are often fireworks for no obvious public occasion in my area , it doesn't seem to bother my dog at all thankfully .

Licensed retailers can sell them all year so what's to stop them getting the fireworks outwith the Borough?

We have alot going off in our area, my dogs get so upset by it and they are not normal fireworks they sound so loud and I mean loud.And I found out the othe week that drug dealers now have a code with fireworks ie...one loud bang they have been delivered and two loud bangs when ready for collection so thats a new one on me.

Hey dotty, there was a masive firework display in Liverpool last night to celebrate it being 800 years old.

don't know if it was anything to do with that - felt like world war three here. Just glad I'm across the water, almost woke up the baby! Lol
