School councillors, what do they do ?
7 Answers
Hi guys, was just wonderin if anyone could tell me exactly what it is that a school councillor does?
Im having a bit of trouble concentrating on my studies already and only been back two weeks, things are already starting to pile up on me and things going on at home aren't helping.
A friend suggested seeing the school councillor and I was assured that this would be kept confidential but Im just a bit apprehensive because Im not sure what this would involve. Could anyone tell me ??
Thanks in advance xx

There is an Aussie site that is mostly irrelevant but it does suggest that you establish early in the conversation exactly what your consellours take on confidentiality has to be in the school colllege etc you are attending.
