Anyone cured a fear of flying?
9 Answers
I hate it, usually take Valium, but it hasn't worked he last couple of times. I'd love to be cured, I tried hypnosis, but it wasn't entirely succesful (I kept thinking the hypnotist was gonna touch me when I had my eyes closed!) What else is there? I've got a trip to New York coming up!

I always was worried about terrorists or about it crashing and oxygen masks coming down and not getting them on fast enough etc.

It is true what dot said about it being the safest form of travel.
First time I flew, I was terrified but never give it a thought now.
My Hubby hates flying, gets the white knuckle syndrome, so I end up trying to help him.
Takes my mind off it anyway.
Read a book or do as I do, listen in to other peoples conversations. It is great fun!
Good luck with your flight.
