The idea of being with one person for the rest of your life can be quite scary and intimidating. Especially at a young age.

An open relationship allows both partners to see other people and I don't think it's fair for you to say you'd feel jealous and wouldn't want him to do it. You may need a re-think on that.

I thought my advice was pretty constructive actually. You could have the best of both worlds.... experience of sex with another man but have your partner present and consenting/joining in.
