Now the chat room thread is gone..is this a habit on AB?

yes, people who like to have lots of replies report the popular threads as they hate to see them drawing the attnetion away from their mundane attempts to become interestingly popular

isnt that a bit childish? stupit question really, who's counting replies anyway, its just a good mixture of subjects on here, or so I thought.

hah, reminds me of at work, we have an announcement system, were we can post messages for people without leaving our desks, and you get a few of the people at work (the attention seekers) who like to mess it up by posting a load of crap on there. It then clogs up the space were i ask somebody who's free to go and get me a cup of tea.

I must admit i do like to play around with it sometimes myself, but not half as much as what some people do to it.lol, i tell you if it didn't fetch my tea, i'd say it was a waste of space!

I came across the AB a few weeks ago, simply searching the web to find out the name of that brill windy road in the peugeot advert, (which I found) and Ive just hung about reading and learning as I go, the friendly banter side to the site is a bonus isnt it

The critical factor on AB is the number of responses you get. You might ask 'How do I make a chicken vindaloo' and get 3 replies. On the other hand if you ask 'I want to have sex with anybody I want to. My partner does as well. I think this is jolly well unfair - what do you all think ?'

I see, thats why the long threads vanish but does it really matter that much how long the discussions are? obviously the competitive people think so. there are so many threads at any one time I cant keep up anyway lol

surely there isnt a 'prize' for the most answers and it doesnt necessarily make you more popular on here

Yesterday, at work somebody posted a porn movie up on the board, and of course while the boss was out, all the male staff enjoyed a good show. I didn't see it because i was elsewere in the building. Just a mild example of what gets displayed on the screens throughout the building and sadly enough in the reception.

yes, i certainly did, and i was told that it was premium quality as well. I was stuck in the bosses office trying to find some papers.
