hmmm, maybe im just illiterate! lol
It took me a lot longer to read your question written like that than if you had written it out properly so no I don't think it would be easier!
Has 4get disappeared again ? I can't get her other thread page up either
i agree with sophie - it is harder and just takes longer to read and looks lazy, ignorant and is irritating - many will simply not read it and you don't get the same amount of replies.
we have all learnt to spell and read the same language - we hav ebeen taught it and thats what we expect to see when we look at writing - we are never taught phonetic writing and so everyone does it their own way - thereby making it hard to read.

jafinked issiz zeezyertur eedtha nyorit ing? itsfo netti krytins owitsh udbeyeez eart ooreed notthowis it?

the 'yer' is odd because everything else is generally written correctly and this just sticks out.

when reading text speak you almost have to press a button in your mind onto decipher mode, but mid sentence it is odd.

i have never had a moan at 4get about it though, can't say it bothers me.
eye i do fink that like
its hard to read, sore on the eyeballs lol
Ab_user - Please decipher this word for me..........ghoti.

i notice a lot of the english who visit tenerife from lahndun and the sarf talk leeike thart

and they tend to say innit all the time.

a new ghetto languaghe spreading across englad apparently .
sorted mate innit true true
I always thought that my written English was bad. But it is not so bad after all.

Nowadays people write in text and not in sentences.

My cat has his own blog and he can write in sentences.

To write phonetically takes much longer, my mother's shopping lists used to be like that. It was a nightmare doing her shopping for her.
