Flattering or Ogling?

Yesterday I caught my boss checking out my legs!! I was walking with him to a presentation and chatting away, and went up the staircase ahead of him when I stopped, turned arounnd to speak to him face to face and caught him blatantly staring at my legs as I was walking up the stairs!! He quickly diverted his gaze and I chose not to mention it.

I took it as a compliment. And also thought it was a nice change from having my breasts ogled!

Would you have thought the same?

Depends what sort of person your boss is really, if one of my bosses did it I would be flattered if the other did it I'd feel sick. If the bloke is a slimey office letch in the first place who ogles anything with a pulse I wouldn't necessarily class it as a compliment. If he was, say, happily married (and so not on the look-out for anything else) and just admiring then I'd be flattered.

I'd feel flattered but it would make me feel very uneasy. Lets say I feel different to someone at work doing it than someone when I'm out socialising. Theres a line I would never cross at work. xx

I based my answer on the fella who was ogling you ~ as he diverted his gaze when you noticed him doing it I thought it was rather cute!

If he had kept doing it and was foaming at the mouth I would have been disgusted..

One of my bosses is late 40's, single and still lives at home with his parents! He has never had a girlfriend or lived away from home, one eye is bigger than the other and he has these funny lumps on his bald head. And teeth like gravestones. And bad breath. He has a real boob thing and it makes me feel sick when he gawps :-(

i dont think my first thought would be is she fit or not.
its nice to feel appreciated.as long as theres nothing perverted about it , mind you depends what you call perverted , then i see no harm.

At my age (39) I find it quite flattering to be ogled as long as no crude comments are made at the same time. Builders shouting "get your t**s out love" is definitely not ok.lol

No, I wouldn't say that either of my bosses were good looking, but they're great guys and I have the utmost respect for them, hence me taking it as a compliment.

I also caught my other boss looking at me once. In a very different way though. He was really taking in my face. I was going through his calendar at my computer with him sitting directly behind me and when I turned around he was looking at me as though he was taking in all my features. Very odd. And I didn't quite know what to make of that.

Agree that it does depend on whether the person doing it is on the pervy side or not. I think in your case I'd have been flattered too because he had no wish for you to be made uncomfortable by it and as people have said, he wasn't foaming at the mouth with desire or anything.

In the last couple of weeks I've noticed a couple of blokes at work checking out my breasts (I don't wear particularly low cut tops and they're not very big so I don't know why they've started), I don't find this as flattering as I would find your situation because we all know all men love breastage, but I didn't mind because both had the decency to look embarrassed when they were caught.

I absolutely never, ever notice anyone oggling me.

Which means I either look like a pig or I'm very unobservant.

I think I'll hope it's the latter.

(Oh, and as long as the oggling is done without thigh rubbing, tounge hanging out, eyes popping out of the head extras then I guess it's probably flattering).
