I've never had an ex so I can't say but I know once when my friends boyfriend left her for another woman we all said to her, 'don't worry, his loss, she's pig ugly,' (which she was), which then upset her even more because she said it just meant she was so horrific that he'd rather go out with an ugly pig than her!
