Litle Finger

What is the purpose of the little finger? I have been having an argument with some friends as to what it actually does and if it is needed. can anyone help - bit of a silly question I know sorry

They assist you in counting to 10 on both hands.

They also assist you to pick the ear wax out:}

its for holding gripping etc just as all the other fingers just not used as much, if you talk to someone that has lost this finger they would probably be able to tell you how important it is!!

It's for getting into the tight corners of your nose where your other fingers can't reach, of course.

Well, at the risk of stating the obvious on a site on a computer, they help you with typing don't they?! Mine do anyway..... hahaha
