Anyone got any nostalgic memories of the early days of this wonder material?

Did you shop at that fabulous emporium Brentford Nylons?

I remember the dreadful night when my Mum dressed me in nylon pyjamas and put nylon sheets on the bed.

I kept being woken by the crackling and sparks, and when I turned over I felt like I would keep on spinning.

Also my Mum bought me underpants of 100% nylon.

They must have thought I was a pervert at school, always scratching my bits!

Oh er, nylon underpants. The worst wedgy I ever witnessed involved a pair of nylon underpants, they were royal blue with a light blue trim (I only know this as they ripped completely and they were able to pull them over the guys head), must really have hurt.

I had them all..nylon nightie, nylon sheets. Blimey, walking across a nylon carpet you could start a fire!

However in the days without central heating nylon kept you warm. Although in some cases too warm!

I remember walking around with my hair all standing on end from pulling my nightie over my head, and not being able to do a thing about it the whole time I was wearing it!!
