I feel ill
12 Answers
I had to deal with a road traffic accident on the way home from work tonight, still shaking and feel sick. One of the two cars which collided on the main road spun and hit me on a side road too (only number plate damaged) but I'd never called 999 before. Just had to deal with it, there was an old lady in the car that hit me and she was in shock, emergency guy told me to get her away from the car as I'd said there had been spillage on the road and the old lady was clinging to me until the police, ambulance etc arrived. Then she was sick. All my adrenalin etc was on full and I now feel sick n sore but its just cos I was all hyped up. Chuffed I dealt with it as Im a wee nervous thing, but wish I hadnt had to, cant fix my number plate but it wasnt worth reporting really, only one screw burst, job for tomorrow now to find a large grub screw for it.
Hugs please lol

I'm a first aider and have had to deal with lots of things, although only one car crash. Had to dial 999 quite a few times tho.
It's horrendous, the adrenaline is pumping, people are panicking, or, like the old lady, going into shock.
Make yourself a nice hot cup of tea (as long as you're sure you're not hurt) and try to relax a bit - it's over, and you did it! Well done you. Sounds like you did exactly the right thing.

thanks folks, i was unsure what to ask for so I asked for ambulance and police but they sent 2 fire engines as Id said there was leakage on the road and from one vehicle, turned out it was only coolant! I was a bit embarrassed and unsure if it was normal for fire bridage to come, what I was stunned about was all the blokes in work vans and others of course just driving on and leaving me to it!!! I had been sitting at the lights so the car behind me seen it all and just drove off.
Nice one weeal!!!!!
