taser guns

I gotta put the question here as I can't think of any other topic that it will be more suitable. I need the specs of a taser gun. My mate is in the police (great hairy chested macho guy) and he's just been issued with a taser and his Birthday is coming up so I wanted to ask my neighbour to either crochet or knit a pretty holster in pink for his taser gun and so I need the specs for one. Can anybody help?

If you google Taser Gun then select images there are loads of pictures, some are of the guns being held so that should be a rough guide to the size (unless they are being held by a dwarf or a giant!)

They come in various sizes, but not too dissimilar to standard commando type Colt 45.

Oh that's grand. Thanks guys. Warpig, my b@stard friend sent me booties in pastel boue (adult size 9) for my Birthday so I have got to get him back. I'll get the holster done and send it to him c/o his Police Station dury sarge - that'll fix him, heh.

I made a taser out of an old fdisposable camera.
not as powerfull as a proper taser but it will still knock you to the floor.

Well Wix, my police friend is for real and I don't think he would appreciate my home made taser gun in exchange for his real life thing. But I'll try and make one myself if Blue Peter sends me the instructions.
