I have been nursing a bad back, cleaning poo up (again), played a very poor game of golf (weather and bad back) caught up on the AB posting extravaganza earlier, made a cottage pie, spoke to my uni tutor about my return in january...

Hi everyone, Ive had a stressful day. Im temping just now in a social work office and its just sooooo sad. Never a happy place to be.

I'm training for my new job - it's fun - spending day in nice hotel, eating big lunch & having loads of tea & coffee all day!! Getting home late, though & having loads to do. That's why I haven't been on AB for a bit. Hopefully, things will settle down in a week or two & I'll be back regularly (is this a good thing, you ask??) K xx

Went to Bury market (best in North West), bought some fish, prawns and cheese. Sat outside a cafe and had a cup of tea. Came back home went in local Co Op for bottle of milk and bottle of white wine. Cooked fish watched Corrie, came on Ab, watched Torn then Benidorm Unpacked now I'm back here till bed.

I had a horrible few hours during the early part of the evening, helping my son with his chemistry homework. Whatever i learnt at school seems a long way back now!!!

pussnboots, Bury sounds fab-I will have to visit! I love markets. Where I used to live, a Continental market comes 4-weekly, and it sells some incredible things. The smells are just amazing!

Smudge, I saw about 2mins of Benidorm Unpacked, and it made me feel ill! Think I will be staying away...Torn on he other hand had me totally gripped. I don't do TV dramas usually, but I saw the first one when I was away learning to drive, and I set the remaining 2 on reminder as soon as I got back!
It was a fascinating series, but I thought the ending was a bit cheesy tbh...Should things always work out so well? My problem, too, is that I always want to know MORE at the end of things!

Ice-Maiden: I was only a little better at Chemistry than I was at Physics, so I am pleased no-one ever needs my help with science homework! Hope the rest of your evening was nicer :)

Sun's out today, and so is my washing, so let's hope it sts nice! Hate winter; we have to go to the launderette to dry our clothes, and it's just a pain!
My paycheque was meant to clear today but hasn't so I am narked about that! Hey-ho though. X

Hi Bm, yes, I switched off last night, but then watched medical hospital prog's on cable until 01:00am! Babies being born, a heart transplant, etc., nice when there are succesful happy endings.

I agree leelapops - Benidorm Unpacked was a bit sick making - I feel sorry for all those people who sit & watch those awful amatuer cabaret acts! I've also been gripped by 'Torn', but thought the end was slushy too, 'specially the kids & parents suddenly being overly nice to each other after all that had happened between them!

Off to hang some washing out whilst the sun is shining, so have a lovely day all. -x-
