Is there any going back?

When do you know you've blown it with a guy? I'm pretty sure I have and I'm sooooo annoyed at myself. I think this guy I've been texting was maybe interested in me and then when he didn't get back to one of my texts i felt a little insecure and automatically thought i was doing his head in. I then sent a text apologising for doing his head in and if that was the case for him to just ignore my text and i would delete his number. He didn't reply. :-( Gutted!!! The thing is i'm a totally fussy ****** and don't see very many guys i like so don't want to delete his number but how do i go back on my word without sounding like a tit!! Need some top advice.

If it was me, I wouldn't text again - firstly because a text is so hard to decipher someones mood - for example you could put ''Hi how are you'' and they could put ''I am fine'' and you'd be sitting there thinking 'ruddy hell, not very friendly', yet for all you know they could have been rushing to work, whilst getting dressed and thinking 'oooh it's Zammo, quick text' and mean it really nice. Plus with a text sometimes they don't always get there and you'll be thinking they didn't reply and they wouldn't have even received it.
If you really really like him and Kylie Minogue stylie can't get him out of your head then I think (and you've got to be brave here) you have to phone him - even if he thinks you're a mad stalker you'll have closure. I'd get a mate round, have a glass of wine and just be like ''hiya was going through my phone, found your number and thought I'd say hello''...however, from recollection didn't you say you hadn't actually met each other it was just through a text photo or something...couldn't you get the 'cilla' in all of this to set you both up? Easier and less head banging!
Although people do say I'm quirky at times so perhaps don't take my advice to heart! :)

Hiya Zammo, just saw your reply...yes - I do think it's a girly thing that us chicks go through at times and I really don't like texts for that reason - perhaps he just didn't receive one (it's happened to me before where I haven't or the recipient hasn't) and it could just make you think ''shyte wadda I do now'' kinda thing...bah text messages!!
Hiya Zammo
It's so annoying when a guy makes you feel like that isn't it. I think sometimes girls (if they're anything like me) are just more black and white about these things - 'I met you, I like you, lets go out'....but blokes like to play it a bit cooler - in case we start eyeing up wedding cakes or anything *they should be so lucky!!*

Yeah all i was hoping for was some cheeky texts to get to know each other, maybe meet up and who knows i might not even like him after that! Some of them do think we all want marriage and babies but i'm nowhere near that stage in my life. I'd just like to like someone who likes me back and play it by ear. I don't think I'll pluck up the courage to phone him but maybe send a text (I know that's what's got me in the trouble in the 1st place) but something more breezy....oh i don't know!!!!!! Lol.
