What details should be shown on your pay slip by law.

Does it have to show your annual salary and hourly rate?

Your pay slip must have, by law:

The gross amount (total earned that week/month)

Fixed deductions - union subs etc

Variable deductions - tax, NI, pension

Net amount (take home pay)

It does not have to show your annual salary, or hourly rate, but overtime should be shown separately.
