Hi love, only saw your thread this morning and wanted to see if you were feeling cheered up a bit. I felt bad that I wasn't around last night to offer some kind words.

I also posted on your originl thread, but don't know if you'll get to catch up with it!

Also, as I typed earlier:
bigmamma and caz247 we need to meet up! We could go to the flicks alone together!

Invisible, I am glad to hear things are looking up for your daughter, inasmuch as she is getting meds now. I do feel for you, and her, though, and as a 21 year old I know how important it is to have a close support network. I remember you talking about your daughter when her breakdown happened: did you say she left Uni? She must feel very isolated, particularly if she isn't working or studying at the moment. Are there no night classes she could try? Or local clubs? What is she into? X

Hi leelapops - hope you're well.

Great minds think alike - I wasn't on here either last night & had not long noticed bigmamma's thread, so posted on it a little while ago. -x-

Aww thanks :) Wasn't sure if folk wanted to trawl right to the end that's all. Big hugs to you all. I hope your day has been as good as mine-my parents came down and I treated them to dinner out, as they always seem to be treating us! Mum brought down emergency food rations (as if we don't eat!) from M & S, as she works in the food hall and gets a mahoosive discount (Otherwise I would never have tasted M & S food!)

Smiley smiley :)
Ha, ha, hi BM - didn't notice you there when I posted! -x-

Ah, just read your post on your 'Weekend' thread, you're very welcome. As you say, it's nice to know there are others who really care & can be supportive in these times.

May you never stop!

Thankyou Fr Bill ..... may I call you that as it's easier to type , though I won't if you would prefer I didn't ?

Woop woop, all is good in the world again :) Hmmm, AB Girl's night in....what a fab idea! I will bring a bottle, and some choccies, and a takeaway menu, and some crap DVDs to talk over (it's what always happens at mine!)

VV, nice to see you, up and lively!
smudge-thank you, I intend to ;) Jaffa cake? :)
Invisible-if you don't mind answering, whereabouts do you live? I really hope your daughter can slowly regin her confidence. She sounds so lovely, and is lucky to have a mum like you, but you are right-she does need to see a bit more of the world, even though right now that seems like a massive obstacle to overcome.

What's everyone doing tonight? Xx
I am just wondering what to have for dinner ...
Treat yourself to a takeaway BM ;-) You deserve it. xxx
Hi bigmamma - the first paragraph in my third post above (Ah, ....) was for you - sorry I left your name off - it's me age!

The second para was for leelapops to enjoy her M&S goodies - I'm sure she will. ;o}

Have a lovely evening - I'm off to watch the Antiques Roadshow now. -xx
Nice to see everyone again
Bigmamma - it's good to hear that you're feeling better today
Invisible - I wish you all the best with your daughter. No matter how old they are they are still your babies and you feel their pain very keenly and want to protect them.
Girl's night in sounds good. Having confessed to overdoing the Jaffa Cakes on another question I have to be very good now though so I'll be boring and stick to the fruit!
Thankyou smudge , I have just watched X Factor , enjoy Antiques Roadshow :-)
xx
What did you think of the x factor bigmamma?
Question Author
