Help for my black eye

Hi,just wondering if anyone has any tried and tested remedies for reducing swelling and bruising on a black eye.I have my first one ever due to an accident at work today and it looks terrible.Thanks (used ice when it happened,then arnica all day but it's now a very dark purple)

Hi, barb! Try Arnica Cream, it's made especially for bruising. You can get it from any chemist. :o)

also witchazel just be careful near your eyes you dont get anything in them.

Thanks to you both whiskeysheri and donna.I have Arnica but will buy some witch hazel too.Didn't know about that one.The bruising is now all round my eye...but is not so sore today.Looks like I've been in training with Ricky Hatton! Thanks again,it means a lot.
