plz can someone advise me on something half way decent to stop my hair frizzing up,cos its naturally curly and i straighten it ,the minute the word water is mentioned it springs up,i look like a been dragged thru a hedge,i dont want frizz, lol, ive tried 'frizz ease'' ive tried most things, anything unique i cud try? help plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz thnx xx
I've got naturally curly hair too and I can't say I was that impressed with the Frizz Ease range. However I love Sunsilk Waves and Curls. It comes in a 200ml green bottle and it's a leave in cream. It cost about 3.50 I think.
When I've washed my hair and its still wet I run this through it and leave it alone to dry naturally. It'll be stiff when its dry but when its completely dry you just squeeze handfuls of your hair and it changes to lovely soft curls.
I get it in Asda. Hope it helps x
We have a product at home called: Kloranes Vinaigre de rinage reflets dors lextrait de camomile. Essentially its a vinegar based product. My daughter uses it as a rinse. She always comments with delight how her hair brush effortlessly glides through her hair afterwards and throughout the day, all of her frizz is gone.
You cant buy Klorane products at Boots. However, many independent chemists carry the range. Theyre available at Harrods and Harvey Nichols, as well as several of the larger John Lewis stores.
Oops...that wasn't meant to suggest such a thing. We actually first found the product in Carrefore's...the French equivalent to ASDA! Nope..I'm common as shepherd's pie.... :-)
Don't be so touchy! lol! I was joking....I would never insinuate that a member of the clergy would be anything but humble ;0) ....In truth, I'm so impressed with your description, I'm going to have to posh myself up and go search some out to try for myself....:0)
Electric: Thank you for your kind words...I hope it works for you. My daughter loves it. She has just turned 15 and typically, as with all teenagers, she sees flaws that no one else can see.. :-)
We use a couple of other Klorane products as well. There's a quinine based conditioner that gives a bit of shine to our hair...but I also want to add..my favourite is just a 99p bottle of Alberto Balsam Freesia.
My daughter's hair is lovely, as is my son's. So my general thought is ' as long as it works and they're happy.'
Need there be any other reason?
Pussnboots: Thank you for the kind comment. I think it's more a matter of 'a little experience in lots of things, rather than lots of experience in a few things. :-) I've travelled extensively throughout my life. I think that has been the greatest window to life for me. And although there may be some snow on my roof, there's still plenty of fire in my furnace!
