I used to go out with a plumber ,his dad was a plumber too, and their bog flushed by putting your hand in the cistern or the builder who had string ( I mean garden twine NOT funky leather straping) to open and shut his doors. Rich who doesn't mind calling someone in is your best bet. lol.
I always said I wanted to marry someone like my Dad, who could mend just about anything. He taught me to knit (my Mum worked late evenings), rebuilt endless cars, reupholstered a suite, gardened like Titchmarsh, plastered, decorated, made pastry better than Mum.
I am much like him and will tackle most things (tho I will skip rebuilding cars) and so I knew I would be happiest with a man like Dad.
I am lucky to have found one. He is a painter and decorator by trade but will tackle most things. He is also kind, loving and supportive.
I think this kind of man is rare these days, as proven by a recent survey. Which is a shame for all you young women out there.
