No food for three weeks detox or demented?
6 Answers
A new regime for eliminating toxins from the body comes in the form of an extreme detox regime. The person cannot consume any food for three weeks. Instead you drink a combination of herbs and clay. It can see you lose weight and change you to better eating habits in the long run. What do you think? Is starving yourself for three weeks a good way to change to a healthier lifestyle? Or do we just need more will power to see we reduce the naughty food in our diet and do more exercise?

There is a great antioxident callled Green Tea -you can buy it in tablet form from Tescos. It eliminates toxins from your body and boosts your immune system. It also aids weight loss.I also take other vitamins B6, Multi and Milk Thistle.
I have combined that with no alcohol, just drinking water and having cereal in the morning (for bulk and then eating fruit whenever I feel like it throughout the day.I occasionaly have a piece of chicken.I have been doing this for 4 weeks now and the difference is incredible.
My GP thought it was a good diet and she has encouraged me to keep at it.
I have to warn you though that your skin will break out for a few days after starting the Green Tea but that is purely your body ridding itself of the toxins and it soon clears up and your skin is left glowing.Good Luck.

The British Heart Foundation Diet is a superb and safe diet, it was devised for overweight people who could not be operated on because of their weight, you must follow it and not deviate for the three days.
General Motors diet was devised by the company for the well being of their employees, it is again superb and you lose serious weight eating masses of food, there again stick to the formula.
You will find both free on the internet.

This is similar actually to Lighter Life that restricts you to 500 cals a day in the form of powders and stuff- the principle being that you will learn by reintroducing foods gradually, what your body reacts to, and what it doesn't like. It's like having a clean slate. Like all diets, of course it doesn't work, as in real life you don't eat like that. As soon as you start to eat normally/socially again, you gain it all back. This teaches you nothing about long term healthy eating.
