hi, i've just been checking my bank statement online & there is �105 been taken out of my account on 13/10/07 @ 6.30pm, it just says entropay i have called my bank (in india) and expained indetail i don't know who entropay is & don't recall spending this money!!! i have googled entropay & it's an online casino
!! i have never used this, so how do i prove to the bank it was'nt me??

EntroPay is a prepaid virtual VISA card, often used by people on gambling sites it looks like. It sounds like your details have been used by someone to get one of these cards perhaps. When I discovered someone had used my bank details online a couple of years ago, I phoned my bank, told them it had absolutely nothing to do with me, and they started a fraud investigation thing. A short while later they refunded my money. I couldn't prove it wasn't me, but they took my word for it.

What did the bank say when you phoned them?

the bank have blocked my card and are going to investigate it, i can only say i have'nt used this gambling site not prove it, i hope they can sort it out!!

It's pretty dumb cloning a credit or debit card for internet gambling as the winnings usually get paid back into the account, so if they happened to hit a jackpot, you get the payout!

I have had my card cloned just this week and the bank are refunding the money and looking into it. Apparently the worst place for this to hapen is a petrol station!

thanks for all your answers, i know it's not a great deal of money but it's a real inconvenience, anyway i sorted it over the phone yesterday and i'm going in to tell them face to face tomorrow, thanks again
