This is not new. Its been happening since the birth of civilisation as we know it and was a nice little earner for me in the 90�s. Piylegesh and concubinis were certainly popular for men and women in ancient China, ancient Rome and in the Bible, so why not now. None of these women are sad, they just want some no strings company without the stigma of being a singleton on so many functions where being a couple was de rigueur and anything else was a social pariah.

Oh good grief no beryl. That was how I wished I spent the 90�s. In reality many women paid a lot of money and even obtained lots of legal documents for me to stay away from them!

But legend-this does not seem to be the same as prostitution or an escort service-certainly not in the sleezy sense of the word. Rather , these are men who provide company, conversation and possibly a degree of respectability to women who would rather not attend functions on their own.Not sure I would want to do it tho...would worry that people would get the 'wrong' impression!...and I admire any woman who has the courage to be on her own in what could be awkward social situations.If they try to seat singles by the loo---complain!

Actually, although the stigma of being single was a factor, more often they wanted to ensure that they were accompanied gentlemanly and safely to/from functions, were stimulated by the company, and that the company prevented them from receiving unwanted male attention or doing anything ungainly that they may regret the next day. It has very very little to do with sex, more about being a chaperone and pleasant (entertaining) company, sometimes a shoulder to cry on, and on the rare occasion a tool to instil jealousy on an ex. There were no embarrassing factors or moments at all and anyone who got the wrong impression generally went unnoticed.

well the reason i say it is about sex.
is because it is a growing phenomenon apparently.
women with careers are now wanting escorts and after they do the stuff octavius mentioned they then want a bit ough with a buff young guy for a few hundred quid.

they feel its less complicated.
the higher flying the business woman apparently the better this suits them.
but theres still this double standard.
for a business man hes a perv or sleaze.
