I'd nearly talked my husband round to us not having a turkey this year & going for a Capon instead - but like him, everyone else has said they'd prefer turkey - so turkey it be!
Our youngest daughter is a vegatarian & I think I'm edging that way too....
we are having a 10lb turkey crown and even though i only get Christmas day off and have to work 8am - 7pm boxing day we are having beef then too, and pork for new year.
I'm having a 6 course feast, with appropriate wines, by a real fire in a tiny, candlelit restaurant in Brugge, with my parents and Mr A. We'll be having canapes and fizz, smoked duckbreast and foie gras salad, shrimp bisque, quail with griotte cherries, buche de Noel, coffee and petits fours and a jolly good time!
