Can't get curry smell off my fingers!!!!!

I had a curry 2 days ago, and even though I didn't eat with my hands (I do have SOME manners), my fingers have had a nasty savoury stench to them ever since!! I have washed and washed them, but the smell keeps coming back!!!

curry (and fish) tend to attack sweat glands with their smell!

i asked this my doctor a few months ago as i was sweating curry....... that's why Indian ,Chinese or anybody who reguly eats spicy food has a certain smell around them!

have you tried rubbing stainless steel across your fingers while your washing them. It sounds a bit odd but If I've been cutting garlic thats what I do with a knife or spoon and my hands never smell!!!

rub your fingers on a freshly cut lemon then rinse your hands

gravitate - bet you do. People never smell themselves unless it is a completely different and new smell.

Most spices, garlic and chillies taint the sweat creating an odour.

I'm not sure what's worse now...the thought of having smelly hands or sweaty hands!!

The stainless steel thing works scooby but you need to do it under clean running water. I have a little gadget that I bought years ago, it's like a little teardrop shaped piece of brushed steel and you wash your hands with it under a running tap as if it were a bar of soap. It even has a little tip on the pointy end to get under you nails....works every time.
