sure, no problem. Contrary to popular belief i am also a nice person :)
I really really really hope you get what you want out of whatever you do. A long time ago I used to work in the same office as an nhs complaints manager, so have had an opportunity to see things from the other side. I have also worked in cash strappd services in the nhs, which is where im coming from on the whole "money" issue, how a person or service can stand or fall on 10 000 pounds, and people die waiting, for example, for radiotherapy for cancer because they dont have the extra money that year to employ a radiographer so the waiting lists are longer
As i have said lots of times before this must be a really crap time for you and your family and im sorry you have to deal with this on top of grieving. It may be that you need to follow things to the end to get "closure" (god i hate that expression but it says what i mean!) However that end (which could be in years tme) might not be what you see it as now. The NHS do take the healthcare commision seriously, and (i think) are obliged to go by their recommendations. (although they dont usually recommend people to be sacked). At the risk of repeating myself, (or fracturing this unusual bonhommie!)i really do think it's best to go to th healthcare commission first, because this will give you a very very good idea of how successful a lawsuit might be, before you spend any money you dont have
