X Ray results

Does anyone know what a bone island is? My X Ray results were described as showing a small bone island at the neck of my femur. My doctor told me that he had never heard of it. Does anyone know what it is?

Thank you very much hollie1586. I was surprised when my GP admitted that he had never heard of one before. I can now tell him what it is.
