i feel a right plonker for asking this question but is it true that you can ejaculate inside your missus while shes on her period with no risk of her falling pregnant?
i ask because she can't go on the pill due to her high bood pressure and i detest condoms, would be nice if we could have sex once in a while without stopping to put a condom on or without having to worry about whipping the big man out in time

Remember, intercourse is a biological function, and the aim is conception, so nature has weighed the odds seriously in favour of this result.
Want to know the odds you are dealing with?
If every sperm in the average ejaclutatin fertilised an egg, you could double the population of North America - that's the USA and Canada, the second largest country in the world - combined!
And it only takes one sperm to do it's job.
Those are the odds, do the maths - get some method of contraception sorted - and no, withdrawal is not secure, it is possible to release sperm before ejaculation.

I'm kinda surpised that you don't realise, even if you haven't had any sex education, you should realise that you can still get pregnant if you pull out, because you ejaculate slightly before you do orgasm.
But if you are at risk of getting STDs then please wear a condom, they are slightly uncomfortable for a reason! They protect you from STDs and unwanted pregnancies.

You're right bb, but whilst on a period, a woman's least likely to fall pregnant, since it's the thickened lining of the womb (in preparation for conception) which's being shed - so obviously not an ideal place for a foetus to grow. However gucciman, everyone here's been right to a degree, but certainly don't rely on the withdrawal method. Many a person's ended up pregnant after their partner "pulled out". Contraceptive injections might suit better than orally taking the pill, but if your partner's new, or if either of you have sex with anyone else, then Redhead's correct - a condom plus barrier cream is the only way to prevent an unwanted disease.
Abstinence is the only guaranteed method of preventing pregnancy. The Rhythmn Method can be effective if used correctly

Hi Gucci,
I'm sure you don't appreciate the patronising tone of some of the other posters. The only stupid question is the one you don't ask. If ur wife doesn't want ot go to the doctors, try the local family planning clinic, they are usually excellent and not at all intimidating. They will give her all the info she needs for an informed choice.
I can't take the pill for medical reasons so use the coil, no mess, no fuss and reliable...result.
Hope you get sorted.

I'm sure no men relish the idea of using a condom but i'm sure you don't relish the idea of kids any more.
The condom has to go on BEFORE you put the little (oops, I mean big) man in not stop halfway. It's like going for a walk in the rain and putting your mac on halfway through after you're already wet!
I used Persona for a while and it's a non-invasive method of contraception. Nothing is 100%. But Persona uses urine test sticks that enables your missus to calculate "safe" and "non-safe" days to have sex.
