Washing hair with soap.

Hi, can anyone tell me if washing your hair with soap is a bad idea, if it does any damage etc?

Any shampoo will strip natruak oils from your hair, leaving it dull and prone to split ends, but ordinary soap is far harsher than shampoo, so the effects are maginfied accordingly.

it will really dry it out, make it very brittle, impossible to comb - so yes, bad idea - unless thats what you want?

Even if you use a lot of conditioner afterwards?

bad idea ,too harsh, also leaves a sticky film with no shine , use shampoo ,even supermarket own brand is ok

Save the money spent on conditioning afterwards and just use shampoo!
