A few months ago I pulled my big toenail off on my left foot (Barney) But it still looks the same now as it did just after I did it.

So I was wondering, do toenails grow back?

Ahhh, good. How long's it take?

It can take months to grow back, but if you have damaged the nail matrix, it may never do so. If your matrix is slightly damaged you may have a distorted looking toe nail - thick or crimped, perhaps.
Yeah I lost my wedding ring finger nail in a totally bizarre accident. My wee sister used to bump along on her bum instead of crawling when she was a baby and I was sitting on the floor and she landed on my hand and bumped and took my entire nail out.I fainted -well you would -uit its surprising how long your nail is -its about half again and goes into a point..Didnt take a huge amount of time to grow back in -but yip it did grow back in ridged.
yes i believe they do lol
Yes they do grow back. i used to do alot of running (not so much now!) and my toe nails used to fall off!!! It was really strange! but they always grew back! Also tho, i have a mark on my big toe nail that wont go and even when i lose the nail and it grows back, the mark is still there!
