there is a cream in the chemists. it reduces the redness of scars old & new. it costs about 39.99. i have read reports on it after people have used it & it does seem to work. hope this helps
I should hope it does work @ 39.99!
There was a thread just a few days ago about scar reduction which should have a few ideas. I particularly mentioned Bio-oil and Elicina.

Hi, research has shown that all you need is sugar and lemon juice. First, get a bowl, add a table spoon of sugar and then add the lemon juice making sure not to add too much lemon because we dont want your face to burn! Mix it in a little then get a sponge, dip it in, and gentle dap the sponge on your scar. This method works as the lemon is a mild acid getting rid of the top layer of skin but not harming the underlayer of skin. The sugar is gritty so that will help get the skin layer off in a gentle way. After you've done this wash it off and add a moisturiser to soften the skin and calm it down a bit. Its cheap and easy to use! WELL... ITS CHEAPER THAT 39.99!
you can get vitamin E cream from the body shop - good for scars etc. and the skin in general....
also - apparently if you rub a blemish/scar. etc with the inside of a banana skin it reduces alot - i know this as my b/friends mum swears by it. she rubbed a moled that had to be removed and it disapeared within a week or so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Try a good facial scrub. I uses St. Ives Facial scrub, it's only 4.00 max and it's really good. It removes dead skin cells which are present after spots. Afterwards use a good moisturiser and then Vitamin E oil, just a dab - you'll skin feels fab afterwards. I do it about twice a week.
there is a product sold in chemists called bio oil that might help! goood luck.
