Whatever it is, it sounds as though it's done you some good! Bless x.
you dumped the bf... sacked your agent... learnt to cook... finished a crossword on the day it was published... drove round the block without running over anyone's cat... well, whatever it was, congratulations!
Can you tell us what it is??

lol no, jno, me and my brother fell out 4 years ago, despite numerous attempts to make amends, i failed, well tonight i got through to him (hes a stubborn git) we talked loads and hugged and he walked away asking me to call him. For anyone who knows me, they will know how very important this is to me! :-)

thanks ice maiden, that means a lot ! X
Well done unruly, glad things are going your way. There is a light at the end of the tunnel after all. x
Beautiful...unruly-that is lovely to hear!
What a lovely ending for you!!!! I hope things just get better and better now Julie. Awww...lovely! x

thanks pasta, truth is, i have loads of crap going on in my life right now and this is just one thing that makes it all seem that little bit bettter. :-)
good for you, unrulyjulie!
You can always get anew bf...new friends....but there's only one true family.

i hope so too ice, but this is just a start , we have a long way to go but its all positive ! :-) thank you hun
I'm so pleased for you Julie. It's horrible when families fall out, and it must be a great relief to you that you & your brother look as if you've patched up your differences.
Question Author
so true ice, we only have one family and as my bro kept saying, " you cant pick em" lol

thanks so much jno! x
It will be nice for the rest of your family as well. xxx
Question Author
thank you kettledrum, yes it is horrible but this one has been out of my hands for so long,. i tried and tried but he didn't want to know, well tonight i wasn't giving in, lol he listened and i hope this is the start of a new begining. :-)
Well why your post strikes me as being such a nice one, is because we've never fallen out in our family - yet goodness knows there've been reasons to. It makes me sad to hear about others doing so, and makes me realise how lucky we are. I'm sure you and your brother have a way to go yet - but it sounds promising doesn't it! The very best of luck - x
Question Author
well ice, thing is, i never saw the need to fall out about what this was over but my bro is a funny character. i have virtually fought him tonight to make him see reason but i must have cracked that hard exterior! lol
i have 5 members in my family, me and him were the closest so to fall out has been so tough on me! well, here we are, 4 years later and hopefully, a light at the end of a very dark tunnel!

:-)
Yes indeed! I think after the initial crack in the ice, so to speak, you'll both need to learn how to listen to each other without criticism - probs harder to do than to say - but we have to accept each other's faults sometimes, and try and get back on an even keel. Whatever, sounds like a good start to the New Year - if only in one direction! x
Good luck, Julie in the days and months ahead. And I hope that now you've started to listen to each other that things will go on getting better.
Thats a brill start Julie;-) Well done! We only need a win tomorrow for your best weekend then ;-)
