I am fairly new to AnswerBank - I discovered it by accident. Ive only been on here a few months.
I often read all recent and past posts to see if I can answer questions or give advice in any way.
From a lot of the reply posts that I have read, I have never witnessed so many people being so childish, slagging others off, so much ignorance, bickering and rudeness in my life.
There have been and are many helpful people on here who have given great advice but there are so many that are just set out to upset and offend others on here.
Some replies have been in jest, but many more havent.
Sometimes I will read a post and think that I am in a teenage chatroom.
I agree Lueclue.
I think some people on here vent their anger because they can't in the real world.
Most of the posters on here who give abuse would never do it in a face to face situation.
try not thinketh too much about from what you gain but what you give. Comming on answerbank is like making love to a very beautiful women. You give it a quick glance, get your nose right in and give it a rummage till she explodes with desire. Or if you are gay its like something different but you can ask in a pickle about that as I think he is the only gay in the answerbank. Why do you torture youer self with such judgmental attitude. Go get a feather and stroke it all over your feet. You will soon regain that far away lost smile.
I hate to say it lueclue, but the childishness and rudeness was here 6 months ago as well, in fact its been here since I joined a few years back, Im always surprised when people act like its a new thing!
teenage chatrooms are much worse, I think you are overdoing it!! I wouldnt even try to post on a teenage forum.
silly questions fine, but when people start calling people names etc its not on. Some people on here dont have a life of their own or just arent happy with tjemselves and take it out on others. The majority though are lovely people, so please dont let the minority put you off.
Oh dear Lueclue, you are very new, aren't you, only joining November 23rd?
If you want to last a bit longer avoid AB areas that don't appeal. Honestly, the majority of posters on here are really lovely and great fun, so relax and enjoy yourself.
