if you are stressed or rundown your body needs to use more thyroxine, as you are on a medicated dose then your levels would drop because in a healthy person the body will produce more thyroxine to order in times of physical or mental stress, hence you feeling rough.
dry, cracked heels are a symptom of underactive thyroid (there are also other things that cause dry heels!!)

Dot that is miserable for you and I sympathise greatly as having aching feet is rotten let alone when you're in a job where you're running around all day. My friend has an underactive thyroid and has never mentioned that before. However, her mum and no one else in her family has it. Boots do a really nice mint footbath ( you put in a bowl and soak for ten mins) - it's round by the shoe insoles etc and I really like it after work. Been to a chiropodist?
hi beadz, yeah we get a chiropodist cheap once a month but missed her in december, she is very well qualified and knows about the probs of underactive thyroid and she does use a really good deep moisturising balm, that reminds me i should get an appointment for next week, i think i should go more often really now i am getting old lol
cheers beadz xx
