Anyone used this for scars?
If anyone has, how long does it take for it to have made a visable effect on the scars?
How does it work ?
Any help gratefully received =]

I had my stomach cut from above the navel to just above my pubic bone & had 32 staples - a year later I had the same section cut open again (to do 2nd stage surgery & 35 more staples) I used bio oil every day & used cocoa butter moisturiser too & I find that in time it was a healthy scar which healed better with the use of the above, but don't expect it to go completely. My scars were quite invasive so I would imagine with a smaller scar cut only the once - you would have better results.
I would go for it - even though it's expensive

A piercer told me that to help get rid of my scars left from eyebrow and nose studs I should massage vitamin E oil into them really well. It's much cheaper than bio oil and might be worth giving it a go?
I've seen it on the Holland and Barrett website but not in the shop so haven't got round to trying it myself yet.

As mentioned on here recently try marigold cream for scars, even old stretch marks. Very effective and have seen its results myself. Even some hospitals have worked with and recommend it for its effectiveness. No overnight results, you have to apply for weeks or months.
When applying anything to a new injury or surgery sight do not rub but use a gently patting or rocking motion with the fingers so as not to disturb deep tissue healing.
