A few night's ago I dreamt very clearly that 4 of my teeth fell out and I have heard that this means someone is going to die. The scary thing is I have dreamt this before and I am sure it was before my mum in law died last year. Is this just a load of codswallop or is there any truth in dreams?
tigwig, I used to have this dream all the time or variations of it, and found it really disturbing. Like you I had heard that it could signify a death, but guess what, no one died. Probably just coinsidence that your mum in law passed away last time. Try not to fret or think about it as that may only lead to reoccuring dreams of a similar nature.
I frequently dream my teeth are falling out big time! I have read many times that this means i feel unsecure , could be work, partner, money , family etc etc.... However i dont think i am in secure at all but it suggests its in the unconciousness or whatever.... personally i blame it on a bad dentist i had years ago and my cap kept coming out all the time and i was totally conscious of it when ever i went out! By the way i have only ever lost 1 person and i have this dream at least 1 or 2 times a month!
Every time I used to have this dream (once or twice a week) somebody died. I have to be woken up now every time I go into REM sleep just in case, and the police are trying to build a case against me.
thanks for the reassurance with the exception of Supernick!! I have been really struggling for money recently and have had to extend the mortgage so maybe it was about that
If you dream directly of someone dying it may be that you've detected - even subconsciously - that they're ill, or maybe you'd just prefer them dead. But indirect dreams, like ones about teeth, can't foretell the future, though they may symbolise different things in your unconscious:
I used to have the same dream! (about my teeth, not yours, tigwig!). I was told it means you are regretting something you have said, therefore you're trying to "swallow" or take back the words.
