Normally my tongue is pink and nice but lately it has a yellow coating on it. I have had a throat and chest infection for weeks- do you think this is linked? I had one course of antibiotics which helped a bit but not totally, and the tongue is still the same.
Anyone else had this?

Hi Scarlett you most likely have oral thrush caused by the antibiotics upsetting the natural flora of your gut. Your GP can prescribe nystatin which is an anti-fungal either solution or pastilles which will clear it up in no time.
Antibiotics kill both good and bad bacteria in your gut and that is why a lot of people suffer with side effects when on them. Your tongue can be effected by the condition of your stomach. Try eating live yogurt or drinking Actimel or equivalent.
