im wearing lenses during the day before, but i dont go out much at moment, so im wearing glasses most time at home, i found the area around my eyes are getting pale color, is that because of the glasses? should i wear lenses during the day then change back to glass at evening(wearing lenses at evening makes my eyes really dry.)

I think you should see an optician, not be asking for advice on answerbank!

My advice would be to quit the lenses for a week altogether and see if it gets better! I mamanged to scratch my eye last year and was advised to quit for a week. Also if you work in an office with AC or take hayfever pills (bit early), it can dry ya eyes/contacts out.

See an optician mirela!

oh sorry supa, i think i typyed wrong, i meant, im ok with both glasses or lenses, but coz i spent lots time at home at moment, so i tend to wear glasses all the time, then feel my skin color around my eye are paler than other area on my face, so just wondering if possible because im wearing glasse too long time.
I shouldn't think the skin colour has got anything to do with wearing glasses. If you're at home the whole time, you might want to try and get some fresh air and sunlight.
I wear my lenses all day then my glasses at home. I do get marks at the side of my nose from my glasses but not pale skin. Maybe you just have thinner skin there?
I was told that you can`t get suntanned behind glass as the suns rays won`t pass through glass. That`s why you won`t tan behind your specs or in a conservatory or greenhouse. I get dry eyes watching TV and PC screens so I use hydromellose eye drops from my doctor. HTH
mirela,
it shouldnt effect your eyes whether ya wearing glasses or lenses, put some eye drops when u r wearing the lenses, beany should have some, unless hes used it all!! if u r worried make an oppointment to c ya optitions!! or u can wait to work for Reed and get free eye test!! lol xx
Ask your pharmacist. Not all eye drops are suitable for contact lens wearers.
