Who has tried Paul McKennas weight loss?
11 Answers
Has anyone tried it, does it REALLY work?
I seen it advertised on QVC this morning and i am not convinced he isn;t just telling you what you already know about losing weight............eat less, exercise more.

Not sure about it as I haven't ried it, but a friend of my hubby was quite overweight and he used it (I think) and a part of what he learned was not to eat to live, but to enjoy!
He was encouraged to eat a meal by putting fork down after every bite an chewing food really well. It took ages to eat, but in the end, he would be satisfied with eating less (as brain was able to tell he was full) and had a better attitude to eating!
He's skinny now!

Something Paul McKenna said this morning was other diets concentrate on limiting certain foods if not barring them altogether which culminates in the 'dieter' instantly wanting the forbidden food making it more desirable and then there is more chance of over eating the wrong foodstuffs. So rather than putting any limits on food he says only eat when hungry, eat what you want n only eat til full.
Ok so thats the basics, chew food lots, place fork down in between. So I wonder what he was charging 40 odd quid for? Is there so much more to it?
Are his cd's full of theraputic voices chanting n repeating over n over -"you are not hungry" "you are not hungry" "you are not hungry" Don't mean to be scepitcal....i just wonder what people are spending there money on.

My wife and her friend have both used the Paul McKenna Confidence CD - to great effect. My wife's friend did try using the weight loss one but started obsessing about food.
I quit a 30 a day smoking habit due to hypnotherapy as well - though not through a Paul McKenna programme but a private hypnotherapist.
