This is more a piece of advice rather than a question!
In a certain well known supermarket (beginning with T), you can buy a 100g pot of vasline for 72p. If you buy a pot from the skincare section, it is 89p for 50g!! half the amount for more money!
Exactly the same stuff but you get ripped off for buying from skincare.
if you go to Poundland you can buy a whopping great tub of 500g although it is just called Petroleum jelly and not branded Vaseline. I only buy the cheap stuff as I grease my bird feeder poles to stop the squirrels from climbing up and eating all the food, so no need for branded stuff.
For those of you who think this is some old "granny" tip, my point was actually that retailers actually charge more for something that is in the Skincare section because it is seen as a beauty product, when the same product is cheaper in the Baby section because it is seen as a practical item.
I've always known that we are ripped off with creams and make-up etc but this is the actual proof that it happens.
