Burping and farting......

does it belong in the workplace? I work with a woman who does it constantly,so-whever she is you hear a toot followed by "pardon" followed by"...."....and on and on. She claimed today that she had bellyache from holding it all in yesterday!!!!.....well?

Burping is acceptable if you cover your mouth and say pardon me but farting is unacceptable!

I find colleagues annoying especially the ones that eat all day crunching crisps and apples. I cannot stand the noise. There is a woman who sits opposite me and she must eat none stop all day. I find it annoying.

Compared to some, she sounds quite interesting, and probably her noises speak more sense than some.

Ewww that's horrible. The lass sat next to me farts all day and never says 'pardon' - so I think you might have the edge. Last week I'd had enough, clasped my hands round my face and yelled 'ew! who had broccoli for dinner?'

She wasn't embarassed enough to go and let it all out in the toilet and stop gassing us, mind.

Bit embarassing for me too - I'm a senior manager and yelling stuff like that doesn't help my promotion hopes ;)

When did everyone start farting uncontrollably? Get a better diet! I've never had a problem - I have a high fibre diet and have never let rip in public!

logic-I think it is dependent on what generation you are....i know I would be quite embarrassed in front of anyone not a close family member.....obviously there are others who aren't. And SRH-as we know-many have rubbish diets!!
