I noticed yesterday that my right foot constantly has flutterings, slightly left of centre, which makes the big toe twitch. It sometimes stops for a minute, but then starts again. I haven't banged it. Any idea what this could be? I do also get muscle flutterings in other areas- hands etc.

Scarlett, it's probably something called benign fascilation syndrome (BFS for short). It's common - check it out.
I often get a twitch in my eye when I'm tired and very occasionally on my upper arm. If it escalated it would be wise to get it checked out but I'm sure it's OK.
Perhaps your foot is trying to get your leg over.
They say such twitching could be a sign of sexual frustration you know.

Either that or begin fossilisation syndrome as said above.
Scarlett if it sexual frustration I know a great cure ;-)

Scarlett, I would say you are stressed out/suffering from acute anxiety. Muscle twitching can indicate this and, from your other posting recently, it all adds up. Please see your GP.
